Evaluation

This course has been really tough but really worthwhile. I knew that it would be difficult learning a technical skill and I still struggle with the technical details, especially if I haven't used my camera in a week or so. I forget things a lot too and having suffered so badly from stress, depression and anxiety since I began this course, I'm really happy that I've been able to finish it and even happier that some of my photographs are quite good.

I think that you can see that I have improved in all aspects since my earliest work. I actually went out and took some photographs of Park Bridge before I started this course and it's been good to end it on the same theme and make some comparisons.

Park Bridge by Rachel Heyes

These are my favourite three pictures that I have taken on this course. I love the autumn colours that compliment Mini the dog's coat. I love the way that I was able to capture the light coming through the trees (total fluke!) and I love the water and the sense of movement in the ladder on the pier at Whitby.

I think that my final project was not my best work but I plan to continue with my photography and maybe take some more classes in the future.
